Worship and Music

Worship

You are invited to join us for Sunday Worship!   lbw

All those worshiping at Good Shepherd will experience a liturgical style of worship. At each service we gather to hear God’s word and share the Meal of Christ, and are sent back into the communities from which we have come to serve our Lord.  Both contemporary and traditional music is used in our worship, at times having formal and relaxed aspects.  While other worship materials are employed, our primary worship resource is the EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN WORSHIP hymnal.

We celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion each Sunday at both services.  On the fourth Sunday of each month we have a healing service.

Music

MusicSince the time of Martin Luther, the Lutheran Church has been known as “the singing church”.  Our worship and celebrations have been enriched by a priceless collection of liturgies, choral works, and hymns through which we express our faith.  Good Shepherd worship is enhanced by our adult choir, bell choir, and soloists.
