We Are Putting on A Play! – Women of the church come out and audition for the hilarious “Love, Loss, and What I Wore.” This play by Nora Ephron and her sister Delia delves into women’s issues, clothes and memory covering all the important subjects—mothers, prom dresses, mothers, buying bras, mothers, hating purses and why we only wear black. YOU WILL NOT NEED TO MEMORIZE ANYTHING. This will be performed as Readers Theater. The cast is made up of all women and all women are encouraged to audition. Rehearsals will be minimal, and we can work around summer vacations. The show will go up Friday August 22nd at 7 p.m. Admission to the show will be free but a free will offering will be taken to benefit Thistle Hills, a program that helps women who have been sexually trafficked or abused in Coatesville. Auditions will be Sunday June 22nd after worship and Tuesday June 24th after book study at 7:30 p.m.
