PALM SUNDAY: March 24th at 9:30am. Join us as we gather in the Narthex with palm branches and song. Our festive worship will include brass, the adult choir and the telling of the Passion narrative.

MAUNDY THURSDAY: March 28th at 7:00pm. This service of remembrance will include Holy Communion and Foot washing for those who choose to participate.

GOOD FRIDAY: March 29th at 7:00pm. This service is a blending of two traditions: Tenebrae and Taizé. In modern times, Tenebrae has become descriptive of a service that moves from shadowed light to darkness. As we hear the Passion narrative, candles will be extinguished, making us mindful of the suffering of Christ on that Friday so long ago.

The Taizé community is an ecumenical community begun in 1949 near Cluny, France. As a part of their prayer services, the community uses short songs, repeated again and again. As the words are sung over many times, the meditative singing becomes a way of listening to God. It allows everyone to take part in a time of prayer together and to remain together in attentive waiting on God, without having to fix the length of time too exactly.

EASTER: March 31st at 9:30am. Our celebration of Christ’s resurrection will include a brass quartet, the adult choir and our LIFT kids playing the hand chimes. Holy Communion will be served and all are welcome to the Lord’s table.
