Like most congregations, the pandemic impacted Good Shepherd’s opportunities for fellowship, but we’re coming back!
Pancake Breakfast – The 3rd Saturday of the month, September – April. 8-10 am. Join us for pancakes, french toast, sizzling bacon, omelets made to order, hash browns and all the yummy breakfast treats you can imagine. This is also a Church Work Day, so fill your belly and then work it off! We appreciate your hard work.
New J.O.I. Group!Isn’t it time the church had some Joy? Our new J.O.I. or Joining Over Insight group will seek to have some joy as we gather to learn and explore new things. Sometimes we will learn about the church, other times it’ll be about something else. Once a month we will try and gather to have fun, learn something new, and fellowship together. All are welcome to attend! Our first event will be Thursday Oct 17th at 6 p.m. We will gather to hear a lecture on the sinking of the Titanic given by Mark Klinger, Pastor Joey’s husband. Mark has been studying the Titanic for over 20 years and is a member of the Titanic Historical Society. Light refreshments will be served with the lecture.
Ring those bells! Come and be a part of the handbell choir at Good Shepherd. No experience is necessary and you don’t need to read music. The Bell Choir rehearses every Sunday at 10:45 a.m. All are welcome to join. For more information you can email our bell choir director, Donna Fesmire, at dfesmire@luthgoodshep.org.
