On June 30, 2024 at our Congregational Meeting, the congregation voted to call Pastor Joseph Klinger as the next pastor of Good Shepherd.
Pastor Joey comes to Good Shepherd after serving as Pastor of Redemption Lutheran Church in northeast Philadelphia. He grew up in Butler, PA, and moved to Philadelphia to pursue seminary studies after completing an undergraduate degree at Thiel College. He also currently serves as Dean of the Northeast Northwest Conference and as Synod Parliamentarian. Outside of church Pastor Joey enjoys baking, running, video games, and theater. He currently lives with his husband of 11 years Mark, and their dog and two cats.
Pastor Klinger will begin his time at LCGS on August 26th and his first Sunday will be September 1st.
