Please join us for Sunday Worship!
All those worshiping at Good Shepherd will experience a liturgical style of worship. At each service, we gather to hear God’s word and share the Meal of Christ and are sent back into the communities from which we have come to serve our Lord. Both contemporary and traditional music is used in our worship, at times having formal and relaxed aspects. While other worship materials are employed, our primary worship resource is the Evangelical Lutheran Worship book
As Lutheran Christians, the presence of God in word and sacrament is central to our worship life. God’s word proclaimed and the sacraments– both Holy Baptism and Holy Communion- are called the means of grace. They are a significant way for us to experience God’s love and forgiveness. We believe that Jesus Christ is present in these means through the power of the Holy Spirit. As we gather around the Lord’s table for communion, everyone is invited to come. All baptized Christians are welcome to receive communion. Those not receiving communion may come forward and receive a blessing.
Sunday Worship Service Schedule: We currently have one worship service held at 9:30 am. During the academic year, this includes LIFT (Living in Faith Together) for children and youth. If you would like to worship online, you can find us on Facebook Live every Sunday.
